Pre-order FAQ
When does GTA 6 release?
November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — officially confirmed by Rockstar. Digital pre-orders can pre-load from midnight local time on November 12, and the physical code-in-box version is available from November 12 so you can pre-load too.
How much does GTA 6 cost?
On PlayStation Store and Xbox, the Standard Edition is $79.99 (£69.99 in the UK, €79.99 in Germany and France) and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99 (£89.99 / €99.99). The physical code-in-box Standard Edition is $79.99 on the Rockstar Store.
What's the GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
All pre-orders and purchases before November 20 get the Vintage Vice City Pack: the '55 Vapid Stanier with the Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, retro outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and the "Channel the Original Kingpin" weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti. Digital pre-orders on PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store also get a free month of GTA+.
Is there a physical disc?
No. The physical version contains a download code in a box — Rockstar Support says a disc will not be included. It's Standard Edition only; the Ultimate Edition is digital, and physical owners can upgrade digitally after redeeming their code.
Which edition should I buy — Standard or Ultimate?
Standard is the full game, and it still gets the pre-order bonuses. Ultimate adds 16 exclusive items threaded through the story — vehicles like the '95 Grotti Cheetah and Shitzu Squalo, the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, and Ultimate-only businesses such as Electric Fang Tattoo, Stock 305 and Sara's Unisex Salon.
Does the Vice City Collection include the game?
No. It's a $399.99 limited-edition box of physical collectibles — a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley Frogskins, a New Era 9FORTY snapback and more — and the Rockstar Store listing says the game is sold separately.
Are key-reseller sites safe?
Key marketplaces sell codes from third-party sellers, so check the seller's rating, the platform and the region before you buy. Rockstar Support notes that PlayStation codes are locked to your account's region, while Xbox codes aren't region-locked.
